The Mountain Gorillas of Rwanda are found in Virunga National Park in the boarder of Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo .Viruga is a home of nearly 800 of the world’s population of highly endangered.

The mountain is made up of 125 km2 of mountain forest and the Virunga National Park with five habituated families of gorillas which are generally visited, having from 7 to 35 individuals in each family.

Limited number of visitors is allowed to visit about 10 habituated families of mountain gorillas for a maximum of one hour a day. Visitors may track for as many days as they like, provided they purchase the required gorilla permit for each day. Save the mountain gorillas by paying them a visit.
