Local Markets in Kampala

There are a number of local open markets mainly engaged in the trade of fresh and dry foods, new and second hand cloths, gift items, kitchen items, electronic items and shoes among other things around the city. These markets tend to be quite crowded and they start business early in the morning and close late in the evening.  Many of them are in the process of being modernised.
