This is the apex body for guidance and coordination of all agricultural research activities in the National Agricultural Research System (NARS) in Uganda. NARS was designed for the purpose of improving agricultural research services delivery, financing and management. The NARS includes stakeholders from both public sector comprising of public agricultural research institutes, universities and other tertiary institutions and private sector compromising of farmer groups, civil society organisation, private sector and any other entity engaged in the provision of agricultural research services.
